[FRESH] Golf Niche - Lists Golf Courses by City/State - find-golfing.com - Huge Traff

Hey,

Recently I set up http://www.find-golfing.com. Basically it just lists golf courses by city and state and displays some AdSense ads. It's SEO'd to hell. Each page has a custom title, header, meta keyword list, and a great URL (using mod_rewrite).

For a couple days I did AdWords PPC, and that was okay (some days I turned a profit, some days I didn't). AdSense CTR is almost always over 6%. For AdWords, I targeted the landing pages well to obtain a high quality score using this city/state keyword tool I created.

So I decided I would get it indexed in Google. I used Eli's QUIT (Quick Indexing Tool), and what do ya know! It was indexed within 48 hours.

As of now, it has only been crawled twice and already has 54 pages indexed.

In addition, I paid $30 for eXe's Manual 500+ PR4 Directory Submission last week or so. I set up a separate email for it and I can give the buyer that password to confirm any excess submissions.

As you can see, I haven't put a lot of effort in. But I have way too much on my plate right now, which is why I'm selling it. I have no doubt in my mind that this site has huge potential to take over a profitable niche. This site is perfect for techniques such as rolling sitemaps, keyword fluffing, and madlib sites. It sounds complicated, but those are actually three relatively easy methods that will get this site completely indexed very fast.

I would do it myself but I have way too much stuff I need to do. So cash in on this high-potential niche site now!

I haven't really focused on that, because as I said I don't have much time. But if you do things similar to the techniques I linked to (among others at bluehatseo - great blog) then you will find yourself ranking.

yeah the database is very good too.. I know of a real tiny hole in the ground golf course out in the middle of nowhere about 200 miles from my house, and I was amazed that it was listed in there...

 

I was curious about that to. I just learned that it updates about as frequently as page rank. Heh. So it will probably be a couple months before it's updated.
