    Why would you choose to pay up-front, when you are allowed the option to pay as you spend?

    I find that it's easier to budget with the prepaid option. I put all of my Yahoo budget in on the 1st of the month and I don't have to worry about overspending.

    Pre-pay is not a bad option as long as you have an idea on how much you spend monthly. I use prepaid for Yahoo, and post-pay in Google Adwords.
