    After suggestion for my friends that I'm protected through escrow from the "0 posts" SP bidder, I'm keeping those bids at sitepoint. I've sent both of them a PM to verify their bid. If I receive no reply within a day or two, I'll consider it a spam bid.

    I ended up purchasing this site for $1,000.

    In that time, the site has earned $666.71 in AdSense revenue.

    That's about 14 months. I've also spent a few hundred on link building for the site during that time.

    That probably means this site is on track to pay for itself in another year.
