us bank account for people from outside us & paypal

Hi;

i recieve money to my paypal account today. when i have started to accept this money, paypal wants an us bank account from me before accepting my money.

i will in turkey but paypal wants a us bank account before accepting the money.

has anybody had a similar problem?

Yes but this time the account is asked while you are accepting payments not for money withdrawal.People can not accept payments.

"accept but do not add bank account now"

You can accept to payment to your paypal account but you cant get the money to your bank account.
Easy way to do so is there is people who pays you the cash with commissions.

yes sorry,same problem at me.Ä° have got sedo payment but couldnt accept.i m not form usa.
How much time paypal will wait me to accept the money?
when can paypal refund the money to sedo couse of un accepted or no act..

Strange i live in belgium and i did not have to get an us account... ?

The problem occurs when you try to accept money , the account wants a us bank account although you are verified by credit card.
A lot of people has written paypal , those contacted by phone where only told "It should not happen , it is a mistake by the last update , Ä°t will be solved " but no solution yet.

A money transfer system worldwide should be more stable , I can not guess if I were in a grey position and want to solve with them.

 

Yes, it needs to be stabkle but it needs to comply with the local laws as well and need to arrange test and check its economy and infrastructure as well. Companies like PayPal also do check the internet user base and estimated amount of money traders from the country.

This is done because they need to sped lots of $$ before they enter any country.

cause they are on the same category with Turkey , or we are the only country having this problem ?
This has nothing to do with market research etc ,cause paypal accepts that there is a mistake but has not came out with a solution yet although 4 days has passed.
Now I want learn which countries are affected with paypals fault.

 

Now I am confirmed that Malaysia has the same problem from a private message.

Luxembourg has the problem , too.
It is seen that all of these countries are having the problem but I still have to receive confirmation from forum members who lives in these countries.
Do they have the same problem ?

This looks like E-trade which can take weeks to setup -- if they set you up at all. They no longer accept certain clients from certain countries.
