Premium Publisher Experiment

IMHO, it can be a success if you do it only with friends you know and see everyday, not with virtual/unknown logins

 

couldn't we just install some rotation software to rotate our adsense code through out the project site? That way we all get a share without the fears.

 

thats a really good idea...but if it did reach premium would we all get the advantages? or would google kick down the door?

 

I don't see why they would, after all, adsense is there for monetizing our "hard work". I don't see why it would make a difference if our hard work is for one personal site or for a group project.

How or who will be donating the hosting? I could but wouldn't be able to keep up with so much traffic? I can put in design, research and promotion time.

 

i can work the seo part! though 10 people is not sufficient! take about 50-100 then it will be possible! am with you, cheers!
make a forum, that will be a easy to promote option, i can donate sig link all over the internet!

link baiting stuff with all of us together can do wonders! i think it will be a huge success!

From what I understand, 20 million pageviews isn't some magic number that automatically qualifies you to be a premium publisher. Could be more, could be less. Would they confer that status on a conglomerate? Would they confer some of the benefits (but not the name "premium") on a loosely assorted group of people? I'm betting not, but no one will know til it's tried.

 

I'm launching a site in 9 days that should be able to get premium status within a couple months with some decent promotion. It's a site that I can almost guarantee everyone on here will use.

 

Are we gonna have the same mess like when all DP members joined forces and helped each other with stumbles and reviews on stumbleupon ? At least then everyone had something to gain, but nothing was accomplished. Team work my a*s !

Personally I'm expecting something best described by a term having the word "Cluster" in it, but I'd be curious to see what happens, as an observer.

 

Holy crap that's genius. If everyone here at DP joined together and worked on say 4 sites. Imagine the possibilities. We could have 4 pr10 sites, I'm sure of it.

So, ONE id will be brought to Premium, so who will that person be? How will you determine how to disburse funds if everyone uses that ID? WHO will take the tax burden for the initial check payment from Google, the person who's ID is used? I think there's a lot more to think about on this lol
