I just made an interview with the guys behind RobotReplay. If you don't know RobotReplay, well in a few words, it's the most convenient accessibility and usability workshop in the world, for free, anytime, anywhere. Basically, RobotReplay records all the sessions of your visitors, and shows you what every visitor did on your websites, from scrolling, clicks, completing of forms and selecting text. The most important thing is that the end result / report is NOT a video but the page itself, and a little bit of javascript, so the bandwidth you save is from 1000% to 5000% perhaps. All you have to do to start monitoring your users, is to put a simple one line of javascript in every page of your website. Go ahead and do a test run on your website.
I use it. It's an excellent way to see the bahaviour of your visitors, in your most important pages. You can improve conversions by seeing how your visitors interact with the page information.
Robot replay does kick ass, I have been using it for like three weeks now I feel like I am spying on my visitors Very nice tool, I think
I will be asking my staff, to install and try it on our new group of website. I will let you know with a feedback , Christian. The review seems interesting, which actually tempted me to try. Thanks Abhinav eka SEOBoy
This is fun Few years ago i was thinking with my pal about doing something like robotreply but becouse of lack of skills in proggraming we abonded the idea. Imagine possibilties, like for example, someone is doing mouse movemnts that shows that he reads a page (for example moving mouse under the sentences) and after he finish site would fire dynamic insertion that says: "Thank you for takeing 4:36 min to read our page" or if he don't read, just scrolling then dyaminc insertion with text: "It seems that you didn't found nothing intersting here, maybe this like be worth of seeing" That would be interactive site, if you have another ideas drop a line.
