I expect low payments per click, typically from .01 to .50 with an average of around 0.18 per click. I recently noticed a single click for $1.84. Has anybody kept track of their highest per click payments?

I don't mean to be rude, but what is your niche. My plan is to take all the money you are currently making and put it in my pocket.

Hey, at least I'm being honest.

Once, I got a $5 click, but that was last month. Don't ever expect to see anything like that again.

There are still good niches out there you would never imagine that pay so well. I have some where regular clicks are over a dollar, and in one of them I get many 2 dollar clicks.

It is just all kind of crazy niches I have found after lots of trial and error, and I've been lucky enough to find some nice ones with lots of advertisiers and good payout, you just need to keep looking... don't follow the crowd and build sites about mesothelioma or similar crap ;)

I have found some of my best niches by going after things I don't like. My first test of this was a stupidringtones.com (I had heard many irritatting ones and heard there was billions in sales), I found an affiliate program, put up the site and made money on selling ringtones and getting adsense revenue.

Later I started setting up pages relating to things at work that bothered me. Things that bother me are things that waste money and generally are making salesmen and consultants rich. Sarbanes-Oxley was a good niche for a while, may be a buck a click and once a meso sized click. Like Fryman said test different topics and you will find surprises.

One surprise I found was the topic of outsourcing. The surprise was that it pays pennies per click while the companies that provide outsourcing represent an industry that provides billion$ in services.

When you find a good topic, keep it a secret and we will all keep guessing. :)

My highest was a hosting related click for around $3. I've created sites for around 20 different niches now but haven't hit a jackpot yet though.

Most of my clicks now days average 15 cents, most are 1 cent - 3 cents, I have an occasional 40 cent click, but there rarely that high. These are sites about software and medical ailment sites, believe me meso sites don't pay hardly nothing anymore, lol
Either do other medical sites. I am also trying new stuff and have just released two other sites that are getting great traffic, and clicks and again, I am seeing 3 cent clicks mostly for even them ads LOL

oh yea, my highest clicks were like $1.65 or so, but that was months back....

It depends on the industry. In my industry, I am happy when I can get something like $.1 per click. Most of the time it sucks.

As far as I know Finance and credit card related niches are nice and high paying.
Well but a analytical work with overture can tell you exact.
