I am looking around for alternatives to Adsense. It doesn't have to be PPC but if you know of any please indicate the type of ads or money making possibilites they provide.

    Thanks

For ME Kontera does almost as well as Adsense.
On SOME pages Yahoo does better than Adsense - but overall Yahoo sucks. If the niche/content of your pages matches-up with Yahoo's incredibly tiny ad-inventory it can do pretty well.. The only way to know for sure is to try it.

Text link ads looks cool, wanted to try it but failed my review.

    adbrite works for me though.

I haven't found anything that can compare to Adsense. The 2nd alternative would be YPN if you live in the US

there is just one solid alternative, and that is text link ads, i don't really other sites! adbrite and bidvertiser are close but then they don't pay much!

yahoo publisher could easily become my 1st alternative, but then it is limited to us so i can't use it!

kontera is another one, but then i have heard a lot about it but never used it!

kontera is nice, but you need a lot of traffic to earn a buck.

As I said on another DP thread, Kontera is a turn off for a lot of visitors. It's too intrusive to the browsing process. Whilst you can probably make some money from using it, you could make a lot more by having more user friendly options such as TLA or affiliate offers.

Not always, bidvertiser does and they aren't great at all. Don't forget paypal fees!
