    There seems to be a problem with the reputation system here. The user that got the reputation does not know who gave them that. This can cause flaming and misunderstanding... in the end a reputation war... Hope to have this problem solve by using a non-anonymous rep :D

    er how can it cause a flaming war, when you have no idea who sends you the rep (case in point, the rep you just got! :D (No, not THAT red rep, the other red rep you just got!!! :D )), unless they enter there username in it??!!!

    well... this would happen by suspicions.... especially someone who started a thread would be the most suspicious of giving a poster to his/her thread a -ve rep when he does not...

    For someone who always claims he doesn't care about reputations, you sure mention it a lot that people are giving you bad reputations. I find it a tad contradictory is all. Perhaps the phrase, "Methinks he doth protest too much" means something? ;)

    Don't worry about it, the rep system here is rigged anyway. I had a PM from a moderator today demanding to know why I'd left him a neg and suggesting I 'wasn't man enough' to reply. Whats the point in a rep system where mods can see whos left them negs and warn you off from doing it again, but everyone else has to sit and wonder? No wonder they are so popular ;)

    FWIW I did reply but didn't tell him why I left a neg - I've never had a neg explained by the poster so why the hell should I give him an explanation! Seems kinda one sided to me?

    It would be a damn sight fairer if everyone could see whos left reputation, good or bad, then we'd see who was 'man enough' to leave it! Alternatively just leave a message after their's explaining why you don't agree with their point of view for everyone to see. Oh go on, you know you want to...
