    Is this possible? How can I do so? I am using apache server w/ windows via Xampp. Im not looking for secure hosting but rather one time, let someone peek quickly, then shut the door!

    The best thing I'd suggest you is WAMPServer. It has a "put online/offline" option...so you can set your localhost to be accessible over your public IP whenever you wish. www.wampserver.com/en/

    If you use a router, forward port 80 to your private IP through the router management page, save and reboot router.
    Check http://www.portforward.com/ to find how you can forward ports (you've to use port 80)
