Moderation Issue!

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Meistro, May 8, 2007.

Hello, over the last few days I've been doing some business in the content creation section... since this is a source of decent profit to me (I have made almost $100 in just a couple days writing articles and forum posts etc.) and what I am doing right now (working rly cheap so people meet me and my work and want to continue working with me) is an investment in my future at this forum, I need to know if these forums are arbitarily moderated like some! Of course it is ok if they are but I do not want to invest too much in a forum I can be banned from if a moderator doesn't like me...

So, before I "complain" about a moderator (rly just want to know why what I posted was an infraction so I can avoid doing it in the future), is digitalpoint of the 'democratic' structure, where you get a hearing if you dispute moderation, or of the 'authoritarian' structure, where you probably get further punishment for disputing moderation? Again, I'm not casting judgement here but it is pretty important to me to know which one if I am going to continue this work and investment in my 'forum future' so to speak.

sorry to take forum posting so seriously haha but anything where money is involved is serious business!

Asking original poster, "Do you steal these ... " implies you are not interested in purchasing but rather disrupting sales thread.

If you are intered in source of content you may ask without being acusatory.

You need 10 infractions by moderators to be banned ;) You still have many more to go!

The info found in the FAQ provides the basis for the infractions listed in Summer's infraction thread which is stickied in this forum. There is no reason anyone who follows the rules and posting guidelines will be banned even temporarily.

Lol, of course you can be, but not for what he was doing? I believe only infractions are issued for that.

Nope, I don't think shawn would ever give me that power, lol.

Besides, it would take out all the fun of being here.

    Meistro,

I've read a few of your posts in the content creation area and you are pretty rude. If it's not your thread/business it's best to stay out of it to avoid other infractions.

Sorry but a little spin does not hurt as long as that spin does not turn into a tornado. :p
