Here is the email i got from adsense after i told them that i accidentally clicked on one of their ads..

Thanks for letting us know about the clicks on your ads. We appreciate
your honesty and your efforts to keep your account in good standing.
Although publishers are not permitted to click on their own ads for any
reason, we do understand that accidental clicks may occur, so we don't
require that you contact us every time you click on your ads.

Yeah, I gave up on reporting my accidental clicks long ago.

They already know when you've made an accidental click as soon as you've clicked it.

Now unless you try to click bomb your own site from your own ip address, then they know your being an idiot and may consider banning you.

Many people working on adsense teams and each has their own style for answering your problem. Just keep those replied email from adsense, it could be useful in the future.

Yeah, I keep all my replies from the Adsense team. This way if anything happens down the line due to their bad advice, you'll have the proof

dont be so panic when you did an accidental click. but do report when you suspect the bad clicks or click fraud. ^^

This is a standard email. Don't be so impressed.

When Google decides to ban you - you can consider yourself banned no matter what explanation do you have.
But they won't do anything for a few clicks. Don't worry ;)

They probably get a lot of similar emails from honest but clumsy webmasters. It probably costs them more to monitor all of these than just ignoring them and letting their automatic systems handle it.

If your family looks at your website they need to be well trained in the art of not clicking on your ads. My OH clicked on mine once but never again. He'd be too scared to repeat it....or perhaps he has and he's too scared to tell me. Oh dear. That's got me thinking now.

I did an accidental click yesterday but I never bothered to report it. I saw a single click registered for that channel in my adsense report which didn't pay anything so I guess they catch them automatically.
