Is delivering traffic from email to a page carrying adsense OK?

Dumb question really I guess, but I would appreciate the advice from the Adsense experts. I have an opt in newsletter, and would like to deliver traffic to pages carrying information, but also carrying adsense ads. My guess is that the click through rate will be very high on these pages, so the last thing I want to do is screw it up.

I think I am right in saying that as long as the page carrying the adsense ads can be reached from the main site via links, then it is ok, is that right?

Also guys is there anything I should look out for in doing things this way?

    Thanks in advance

LMFAO those pages have been there for well years. if you look the copyright is 2002. and we no longer do web design anyhow ;) I use the web design wales site as a test site because it ranks for some 'awkward' phrases on a search engine that no one uses like 'web design wales' on Yahoo ;)

    http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=slv1-&p=web+design+wales

I have it in my signature to test the effects of forum signatures.

Grazzy, there really is no need to be ignorant you know, fortunately I don't give a rats arse what you say, but if your going to post a reply, you should at least have the decency to actually reply to the question being asked. Or didn't you understand the question?

Why do some people have to put others down to make themselves feel good? You should try helping others, the buzz is much better :)

I don't see any problem with linking to a page from your newsletter, as long it is a "regular" page in your site. If you want a definitive answer, just email Google. :)

If it is quality traffic, it shouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't advise doing the same thing for one of those "email blast 21 million people..." because publishers have been suspended for untargeted traffic schemes like that.

Yeah I was about to say make sure that everyone is on a opt-in mail list that you own or very targeted to the subject your mailing.

Thanks Jenstar. Yep it is a mailing list that is built from forum members so absolutely 100% no spam :) I thought that as long as the page is a regular one (as in part of the site), then it will be ok.

Thanks everyone for your help. :)
