I am planning to buy a paid CMS for one of my site. I need to learn about paid CMS from the scratch and it should be easy to understand as earlier i was using free cms like wordpress only which is quite easy to use. Recently i found this one http://www.phpcow.com/ if any of you using it then pls let me know it's feedback..

Subdreamer? No way....my advise: dont go for payed cms..the good idea is to grab an open source CMS like Joomla,Drupal....and then to spend your money for some payed extensions...if you need them.Joomla offer more than Subdreamer and is free ;)

yeah..totally agreed with u.i tot some cms like expression engine sumthing like that was very powerful, but somekind of free cms could do more than that, especially joomla.

just get a free one then. :D

I have to deal with Clickability on a daily basis and it's aggravating. Sometimes you can run around the building twice, and when you come back, the page is still loading. I wish we would switch to Joomla.

stick to free ones as they have large modding and support communities unless you can afford a $20,000 custom-made cms.

Free and paid CMS's have both pros and cons. Most affordable content management systems will never have the variety of modules etc that Joomla would but a commercial CMS may have support options and other things that you don't reallly get with a free CMS.

An advantage of Subdreamer CMS for example, is that they have one of the best forum integration bridges out there and they will be forever supporting it and ensuring it works... including with the upcoming phpbb3. Try finding a bridge that doesn't break with any other CMS.
