Hi guys, I don't mind paying for advertisement since what I would be interested in advertising has a good conversion rate. My main problem is where should I go and advertise? I'm mainly looking for cheap BUT really good advertisement. I even don't mind paying extra for really good deals. By the way, PPC is out of the question for me Anyone?

Well, banners are good but somehow lost its luster after so many years of usage (I could be wrong). I for one, am blind to banners. You can give it a go by purchasing some banner impressions in DP's BST forum.

That is the site owner's prerogative. If you are referring to text-link-ads.com, I doubt that affiliate links are allowed. Good luck in your quest.
You could also go for presell pages which give you the option to place a whole advertorial like page on other sites
I would suggest paid directories. Some have very high searches and high PR as well. Some will also rotate your link at the first position in searches. This way, you have a backlink from a high PR to boost your organic search and direct visitors from the directory.
DP market IS a good place. As long as you have your ad in relevant sites, the pay should be good. You can also gamble between pay per impression as well
In order to get big, advertise on big sites. It's that simple. If you have an upcoming video site, find out about advertising on ebaumsworld, break, etc.
