Scammed By Morpheus

pls delete.I have been scammed 32$ by this person with username morpheus (morpheus_neo826@yahoo.co.in) He scammed me 32$ for exchanging Paypal..

Oh, does that mean the thread poster got scammed in Nov 2006? Aint it too late now to post. I gues this morpheous guy doesnt even use dp that much now

 

He never used DP, actually (5 Posts & 0 ITrader). You shouldn't exchange money with new people here.

No the deal took place yesterday...I wanted the money fast, so i did not had the time to look at his profile...I just asked for his username....

Then it is also ur mistake,always confirm the identity of a person b4 u deal.

All I can say is........You get that. It's unfortunate but there are a lot of scammers around...that's why I am very careful in here.

I check absolutely everything and record everything including ip's, dates, names....everything before I do any currency trading.

Just ask Dadman how secure I am in this...LOL

I also used to trade with reputed members only...I don't know what happened to me yesterday...Though i know it is my fault..i just wanted to say that u people should be carefull.

 

Take it as a life lesson and move on! If you don't check out who you are dealing with, I say that you scammed yourself. All you have to do is check a person out first. Not much you can do with these kinds of trade because PayPal do not allow them so you take the risk every time you do it. No recourse but to suck it up and say I learned my lesson !

 

thanks for the warning. i got scammed once $300
so, i know how it feels. i phoned paypal, but unfortunatly they cant do anything about it. so next time becareful.

 

First, comple with DP RUles, Wrong section

Secndly, bad to hear that.....Always be cautious for using PayPal...

 

iTrader is enough for me. Although you should check all of the above to be on the safer side.

 

yup. that was a big mistake.
and as someone was saying yesterday in another thread... u sud try and get the user to send u a TEST pm .... so that u can stay confirmed that it is actually the same person ..
also u sud look for his iTraders. if you hav more iTraders than him ( which aparently u did ) , then you sud hav first asked him to send you the money first

And whenever it comes with money, i for one never am in any hurry watsoever

 

I had done exchanges in the past at that too of huge amounts, but i never knew this would happen..

Anyway i learnt my lesson....
