Today, I Received 3 infraction in 3 minutes for the same Topic.

In fact, they are the same topic.

I feel this is unfair. I am selling Domain in digitalpoint, since the edit function will lock after a fixed period.
If I want change [reduce] my offer / selling price later, the only solution is to reply on it, and post my new offer.

I think that 3 infraction point received from the same sales topic was unfair.

You should have just contacted the mods instead of opening this thread.

    True.

You could have asked them to close the thread. And start a new thread with the lowered BIN. If you explain why. The majority of the mods will understand and will close the thread on request by original poster.

Welcome to my world. I get no infractions than 2-3 in a row same thread same day. You made a mistake and they have 25,000 members so they just shoot and ask questions later. Best advice is a) don't start threads like this and b) just make sure you are following the rules to the letter.

I got mine for "bumping" when i was replying to what someone said but don't cry about it just "move on".

Bumping thread - Bumping is when you reply to your own thread with the sole purpose of bumping it to the top of the forum. Also, a worthless reply to old threads can also be considered bumping.

I am selling domain and reduce the selling price after each date, and reply to my own topic in order to post the new selling price, the selling price is the important element of the selling post. I don't think it's a worthless reply

Correct me if I am wrong.

well i personally feel that it is within a sellers right to lower the price of his domains.. afterall sometimes you get buyers for high prices and sometimes u need a quick sale..

i do not consider any harm in that?
therefore bin reductions should be allowed IMO

Actually-i think we should be allow to bump occasionally in the
Buy, Sell or Trade thread. There seems to always be more ppl Viewing and posting so that would make your thread disappear very fast. Your-allowed to bump all you want in the chat thread with useless comments. Does this make sense, huh?

taking off a $ also is within a sellers right IMO.. because suppose a domain is worth 5$.
the seller will offcourse not list it for 5$. he will list it for a higher value in order to get a better deal. also, most buyers demand some negotiation therefore if the price is 5$ then the seller is at a disadvantage because he loses money

in another scenario, he lists his domain for 10$, he might get an enquiry from a buyer and he might offer him 20% discount so that the price comes to be 8$.
the buyer is happy that he got 2$ off and seller is happy that he got 3$ more

in case there is no buyer within a few days, then the seller can reduce the price to about 9$ bin.. that would probably spark interest in some buyers

therefore in nutshell reducing prices and bargaining are CORE principles of business and therefore the seller has the right to reduce the prices
