    If you wait a FREE domain name check out www.dot.tk , however it is not a .com extension.

    You can register one with a .tk as mentioned above. The only problem is that the name is a redirect and you don't own it.

    A domain name costs only $9(US) and cheaper if you use coupons.

    True, but regardless it is free...

    There are some other .com domains that are free I suppose.. there are catches though (placing ads on them)

    You can get .info for balow $2, but that's about as cheap as you can get.
