Im turning 21 in 1 hour GMT. Wooohoooo i thought to myself... Untill a few minutes ago when i realised that asmallorange has suspended my account. All my sites are down! No explanation, nothing... Im losing all this money and im f-kin skint anyway... I better get my backups because that would be years of work down the drain.... grrrr... Sorry guys... But i only had two options. Either go for a cig and rant in this thread or go for a cig and kick someone in the face...

I've been using ASO for like 2-3 years now - they rock. Not to say I haven't had problems here and there (including DIGG-splosions from time to time) but they have always been good about responding directly and making everything better than okay.

I actually prefer their casual/personal communication to the stiff/formletter communication you get from other 'professional' hosts - Grant it writing "Sh**" in an email to a client probably isn't going to win them any 'Professionalism" awards - heh

ASO is good but expensive IMO.... I get unlimited space and 250gb of bw a month for $12.50 a year. ( Normally 25 but I got a coupon :p )

    Thank you guys!

Basically what has happened with ASO is that one of my dodgy scripts overloaded their SQL and they thought that it may well be some sort of hacking attempt because they were only able to capture partial logs... So they shut down my account for our mutual benefit...

Its just the initial lack of explanation and the response with "shit" that got me... Apart from that i still recon they are good.

    Happy birthday mightyb :)

I totally agree. Better to deal with HUMANS than faceless corporate employees. I'm always suspicously of people who use goody goody language anyway. Oh Golly Gosh!
