Shawn, keep up the quality of coop, it's a great tool. And you are doing a nice job!! You got a rep for that, but I know you don't care for the reps, you own them :) lol.

Is their a good reason why DP doesnt want LV on their websites or does DP just want to monopolize the links? Personally I would like to use both on one website, but since it's not allowed I am dropping half of my DP websites (about 50K weight) in favor of adding some LV links. In the end the members using DP are going to lose out because with me, thats like 25,000 pages that DP members are losing out on, and if you add all of the other DP members that are switching over, that's probably a lot of webpages.

Don't worry about DP, look after yourself and do want you think is right. The DP COOP network continues to grow at an astonding rate with or without your valuable webpages.

At the end of the day it's you that has to face the SEO tactics that you have choosen to employ. LV and DP are both great SEO tools. However LV is a VERY slow climb.

yes, it's been posted about numerous times. Allowing multiple newtworks on the same page will eventually lead to thousands and thousands of sites that have dozens and dozens of ad network type ads on all thier pages. It will reduce the quality of the sites in the network.

Actually, my refferals took a big hit when LV first came out but over the last 4 months, nearly all of them have came back.

Why are people always saying "Everyone will leave". Link Vault is a different program and if it suits you, use it. But not everyone is looking for the same thing. For me personally the Coop happens to be a better fit.

Its just a preference based on your needs

out of curiousity what makes the coop a better fit for you? for me personally LV is a better fit and I don't see how the coop is a better fit for anyone in anyway possible.

    Please elaborate.

As an advertising network, the conversions have been steadily increasing over the last year.

I don't want my links buried on a deep page with no visitors, high PR or not. I like that the Coop rotates links.

Again, that is just a personal preference based on what makes me money. Your type of site will dictate this

I also think the quality of "average" sites are higher because its an advertising network and is used by more than just SEO's. That being said, the opposite may be true for LV which could also be viewed as a good thing if you are only after rankings.

Yes, that way you can find them! I was thinking they were found from the "outside".

And with the new option to have static links for coop links. It will be much harder now to find cheaters.

But if you want to you can search for the coop gif that is used for impressions. Only if they modify the code, and that will be a lot more difficult.

As long as LV and DP are running in separate directories it is within TOS.

As long as the archive directory is not within the forum directory, it's fine.
