Is there anyone here that his account has been setup? Any live proxies hosted in them so we can test speed?

if you read their TOS they will shut down your account if your proxy is using too many resources. Be careful

Ok i just recieved email from them with login info. so after 2 days sign up i got it. well they r pretty slow to set up account. lets see how it goes...

Sorry for long setup guys, i have maked sure every single account is setup and we have about 40 more space on our new servers!

What are you talking about my friend ? please read the top of the TOS its only for VPSes not proxy hosts, as i said in first thread we have some BW left on our own dedicated lines so we are offering this , hosting over 200 accounts a total of about 450 proxies since 2 weeks ago which i opened this offer! ( Not limited to DP ) , Again its just to protect us from users who are abusing our servers, all accounts are hosted on Dual Xeon Dual core servers all with SCSI Raid10 drives, speed granteed or your money back

This site is down. If you dont allow proxies on a VPS, then what do you recommend for running 8 proxies?

Seeing the reliability of server, looks like P4 with 1 gig ram

 

@PEHW@ - Proxies are allowed on their VPS plans. I am hosting one of my small networks there.

@inworx@ - If these accounts are hosted in same specifications servers as the one that my VPS is, they are going to be Dual Xeon Dual core servers. This is what i see in System Information, at my DirectAdmin control panel



and this what phpSysInfo is showing me




I have also ordered on of the plans advertised here, to test it. I' ll keep you updated regarding speed and server specs, when i get my login details.

 

What are you basing that comment upon?

I did purchase Plan 2, and still in the process of setting everything up. My account was activated in about ~24hrs. There are still things to be straightened out, or clarified to me at the moment, just waiting upon a response from them.

Presently, is reasonable, no major issues. Though even though the service maybe tollerable at the moment, it is most likely 1 server, and will eventually be bogged down due to many accounts occupying it.

The server in WHM indicates that it is the same as indicated above. It could be the same server for all I know.

I have ordered one account a few days ago, and after seeing these controversies i feel the need to explain my thinking for this service.

Definitely what he is telling is true. Its a Dual Xeon Dual Core processor with 4 GB Ram. Here is a screenshot:

You can check the screenshot. It is definitely having 4 Mb Cache, but you can check what i have marked. Two things are rounded in the shot. First, he is having 4 GB Ram with 0 Swap memory and second thing is his hard drive partition. His hard drive partition definitely infers that he has made a VPS and hosting us their its because the partition device isn't as general.

And as i said before, 0 Swap Ram is a big fact for web proxies. It let the server hang so easily without any swap Ram. I faced this problem 2 times till far, but as the Ram and query usage is limited in the vps thats why performance is great when it is in off time, but in the on - time it is really get freaked out and sometimes hang.

Although, his service isn't bad, but not in the top class.

We DO allow Proxies on our VPSes Sorry , i had a script running there for 24 hours so you can test the speeds but removed it for security reasons! i will get one set up and configure the Security stuff and etc and post it here tonight when i had some time!

I think this has been proven before from the screen shots!

Well, Thank you for your comment, and no we do not have one server that all Proxies are running are We OWN several racks at USA , Peer1 which can be confirmed with Peer1 if needed And again we own all our servers and equipment from the Servers to Switches and firewalls!

Yes you got it right, What i have done is Created 10 VPSes on each Dual Xeon Dual core servers each with 4GB Ram and the reason is :

1- Incase of needing more ram , i can add upto 16-32GB of ram to each of them!!
2- Incase of a downtime , server crash , i can use our OWN backup system and moving the sites to different server with the SAME IP in minutes as the main server is down !! ( Data will be restored from our Raid 5 Secured Backup servers )

Their support and responses at the moment seem to bug me the most. Not that fast, but still get some sort of response within 24hrs. Though their responses are like the type of response where I'd just send you round in circles, so you then need to open another, and another ticket to attempt to get the answer.

Still trying to get my accounts setup correctly.
