Changing the Payee Name on my Account?

    I know there is no option in Adsense to change the Payee Name, but under support it says you can contact adsense support about it....but does anyone know if they actually let you change your payee name?

    Currently, as I'm underage, the account is in my dads name, but once I'm 18, I'd much rather to just change the payee name to mine instead of making a whole new account, therefore losing all my channels, reports, stats etc.

    Thanks. :)

    Well, they will let you change your name if you legally change your name in the courts or if there is a typo. I doubt they will just let you change your name just like that.

    What you can do is to set the Payment to 'Hold' until you reach the age of 18 then you unhold it.

    Pretty much nothing much you can do legally.

    I think they said it clearly that "You can not change the name later" actually i'm in the similar situation but I just think never mind whenever i got my own credit card i will just apply again and replace the ads. ^^

    ps:the first payment is in your parents credit card account why dont they give you a money if it's belong to their kids. ^^

    I guess your Dad doesn't want to pay the taxes on your Google earnings?

    Otherwise yeah, hold it in your dad's name and just have him sign over the checks to you.

    When you're 18, open you're own AdSense account and swap out the publisher-ids.

    I have two AdSense accounts:
    * one personal
    * one for my LLC

    It's totally legal. LLC costs $300-400 after all the paperwork, fees, etc. are taken into account.

    NO they let you change your payee name.
    I have done it before.
    Email them and they will email you ack asking security questions and then ask you what you want your payee amed changed too.
    I've done it.
    Thanks

    i also think that you can change it, but do not tell them the reason; just sent the email answer the questions and you ll get what you need.

    I'd agree with nickflame - it's possible to change the payee name, however Google don't really care about the reason - so be sure not to give one :)

    If you're trying to change it to a different person, that's going to be damn near impossible. I have never heard of Google AdSense allowing that.

    I was also in one of these kinds of situations about a year ago. I started to make some decent income so I changed the payee name (which was under my mom's name) to my name, so I could cash the checks into my bank account.

    I had to e-mail Adsense and I gave the reason why I was changing the payee name. They replied asking me how much earnings I made in the first month of using Adsense and on which channel, or something like that (for security purposes). After that, they changed it with no hassle.

    Yeehaw bye
