Hi all - I've been hanging around this forum quiet a while now and met some great people over here - thanks for that. In some thread I got "Who the F* are you?", and I never really took the time to write a bit about myself in this Introduction forum. So here it is, specially for Crazy Rob! so don't give me who the F* are you again I started out on the Internet way back in 1993 when Yahoo was actually the only thing around besides some regional/local directories. I created my first homepage in that year using Netscape 0.9beta wow - what a world. from 1995 to 2004 I worked as a software engineer/designer on various projects , mostly SE-technology related, so I was 'on the other side' of optimizing sites. Now I'm back to where I started, creating custom made databases for larger companies/organizations. The SE interest always remained and I took a more closer look at what google and msn were doing and came across this forum, and never left actually so after 400 posts: Hi, my name is frank - nice to meet you all!
nice post Frankm. I now have the Chubby brown version of Alice ringing in my head.. (always a favourite at the rugby club monthly Karaoke ) For those who have not heard it, the song in question was a cover version of 'living next door to Alice' by Smokie. with the tag line of Alice? Alice? Who the F is Alice? Oh and if you want to hear it, I have put it on the rugby forum www.scumv.co.uk/alice.mp3 (3.7meg) And if you want a really god laugh then here is a song from a local boy. there is some very strong language in it though so it is not for the feint hearted. http://www.scumv.co.uk/song.mp3
Ah...the good old 'f' bomb...so many uses. By far having the most versatility in the english language. Welcome here "old" Frank from new "Allen".
Do you enjoy the great f*ing herbs there in A-dam? Anyway, dont worry about Crazy Rob, he is cool. He and I have bumped heads (I think in political debate) but overall he is a cool guy. Welcome to F*ing DP.
