I got a office in my house, so it is less than 20 yards. Sometimes I go to work in my trousers.

One day every week it is 30 min. drive. I hate that. I hate the dresscode.

I used to have to commute 2 1/2 hours each way, so I wound up staying at the Westin on most weekdays. Great job, but being away from the kids was too much so I finally sold the company and haven't had a "real" job in the last 10 years.

    136KM (84.5 miles) each way.

Takes me about 1 hour and 10-15 minutes each way. Fastest I've done it was 55 minutes (at night with almost no traffic).

There's a traffic circle around here. It's pretty funny because people drive around it as fast as they can. You really have to time your entrance and accelerate quickly.

A few years ago I was behind some woman that just wouldn't go. So I gave her a polite little "beep-beep....toot-toot". Well she went ballistic. Screaming and yelling at me, flicking me off. Then as I passed her she threw a bunch of McDonalds wrappers and garbage at me.

    I hate people that can't take a honking. :D

You should have just followed her all day honking at her. Even if she got out of her car and ran into a building you could have just ran behind her making honking noises.

    Good Times.

Must be horible travelling all that way in your luxury car (just guessing) or someone has to say it, powered by Windows Auto and always needing to be rebooted! Must be fun when you see the blue screen of death... If powered by Windows 98....

Sorry man had to say something.. all in all I prefer microsoft to other companies..

From my driveway to my 24/7 reserved garage parking spot ( :) ) it takes me 35min during early morning traffic and 25min in late morning traffic to get to school.

From there its a 3min walk to my first class Mon, Wed, Friday and a 7 min walk to my first class Tues, Thurs.

I must admit, that despite my liberalism I do listen to Hannity. Actually, I also watch the 700 Club whenever I get the chance. Not because I think their arguments are valid intellectual points, listening to them just makes me feel better about myself. ;)

Dreamshop, if you haven't noticed my signature, take a look. :)

I take the tube (Subway to you Americans) a couple of miles across London.
Thinking about taking the train next year though.
