I was Banned for a year :-(

Yes ! you read it right ! I was banned for a year without my fault.

The reason why I was banned from digital forums was because I messaged a user replying to his requirements. The user post was a little old and i did not realise. I msgd him with all the details a little later (after few months) and he reported my message as a spam as he didn't remember.

I sent several emails to You guys at DigitalForum to lift the ban on me explaning the problem. But you guys did not do it and didn't reply to my email. Meanwhile I did not create a new account on this forum as I wanted to prove you guys that I was innocent. Now finally after a year I am posting with my Grievance.

I am sorry my intention is not to say that you guys are bad or something, but I didn't get a chance to explain.

Seems odd your first post was advertising your site and the second was to complain. Are you trying for a second year ban?

 

Sorry to hear that happen....(not sure which story is true though) but kudos for not opening another account..

My intention here is not to get a banned for the second year. I love this website and thats the reason I am back.

I just want to put this forward to DigitalForums. If they think I am wrong and I should not come forward and talk about it, they can definately ban me again for a year or ask to me to stop this discussion.

Sounds like you learned a hard lesson....even if its your fault or not.....

 

Your lucky. I got banned May 2005 from WHT. Still banned now.... Reason: not replying to emails (i changed my account..)

Good luck starting over, I'm not sure if they will give you back you account but they may let you stay.

in that case did you send the PM when you had 0 posts? i don't blame the guy for reporting you. you just happened to step on a landmine at the wrong time (is there even a right time??).
