I clicked on an ad once by accident..is this serious?

    Hi all, I am a newb in adsense (less than 2weeks) and here in this forum. On either the first or second day, when updating my website, I accidentally clicked on one of the ad once. From what I have read and seen through this forum, it seems like Google is extremely strict with all the banning news... should I be worried?

    and it will be of a great help, if experienced contributors to this forum can identify whether my website (will be putting more articles on) is going to the right direction; not against TOS and will work.. Thank you so much for all the assistance.

    No, its not serious. Just them a polite email telling the what happened. Just don't make a habit of it.

    dont worry about 1 click. sometimes when i work on my site or doing soemthing by mistake i clicked once or twice, but they didnt tell me anything, though it was 6 months ago. but those clicked didnt count. so i know they knows it was by mistake.

    It happens sometimes and as quest said send an email informing them. They generally don't ban accounts for an accidental click.

    Yes. I did accidentally clicked my ads once and informed Google. They replied and I didn't get banned.

    Email them telling that you accidently clicked on the adsense, it should be fine

    If you do it only once you don't need to even mail them. Just make sure you don't do it too often - as in very rarely.

    I would probably err on the safe side and send them an email. Your email won't be read by an actual person, but the generic email you get back will be a good record that you reported your fraudulent click, in case you need it.
