DP is turning to warez forum?

Have a look at freebies forum, a bunch of links to illegal content, no wonder why rep,itrader started to be as a joke.

IMO B/S/T should be organized and a fee must be applied for the buyer/seller.even those $1 purchases must die.

yesterday I got - itrader from a moron, who was harassing me, to buy his sig, after several days from ending his auction

 

yea truly speaking this buy and sell threads has been a mess now as some people are selling warez stuffs and giving itrader has been so cheap now,in this section.

Some one should really do something.

 

Yes freebies forum is now contian this type of stuff. I think Shawn should setup a new guide lines for freebies forum.

 

I have also noticed quite a lot of illegal stuff on here lately, not good as it will give DP a very bad name.

One thing that can be done is the verification of new thread by a mod and only then it appears on the forum. The seller may also be asked by the mod to show the rights he own of the product.

 

Instead of burdening the moderators why not we take the initiative and use the report button.

 

I agree, the report button can be a powerful tool to help stop such things. So can red rep...rep is often easy enough to come by, why not spend a little of it to help make Digital Point a better place

Thread rating can also help, but only as an indicator that something may be amiss (as one star really does nothing).

 

as T0PS30 has said, the only way is for us to red rep those warez sellers in order to take away their trading right. contact Yellowberry if you want to help him.

Freebies section was created to get these threads out of the other BST forums. If you see something you feel is inappropriate then report it.

As for the iTrader deal there is an option to allow iTrader for trades, however giving something away for free is not a trade so what not just disallow iTrader to be given in the freebies forum?

You actually think that DP would create that forum? I honestly don't think that Shawn would even appreciate that word being used on his site at all, let alone making it an official forum.

Unless DP starts having paid memberships this will never happen.

Could you imagine the time involved with this sort of research for each thread posted in BST?

If you would like potential buyers to be aware that you do have rights to sell the product why not post a link to a copy of your terms?

 

No it wont, as they cannot remove anything, as the statement in T0PS30 post, which I posted at the top of thread.

 

It can be effective if it's obvious it does not belong to the seller...or if proof is given by the member clicking the report button.

Anyways, back to the topic. Just report the threads. Give them reds, etc. and let the actual owners of the properties handle them. After all, it's their product, not yours. It's their responsibility.

 

You are right..Actually the whole BST section is not good now.Remember when we had real link sales in link sales section and now only Link Cloud sales and only few good link sales..
