Which Directories do you Trust

    Lots of activity recently in the very competitive Directory Market Place

    But lets step away from all that action for the moment some of which is positive and a lot of it which is negative

    Aside from that :-

    Which Directories do you TRUST

    Trust (Oxford English Dictionary)

    trust (noun): 'confidence, strong believe in the goodness, strength, reliability of something or somebody', 'responsibility'have trust in (verb): 'believe in the honesty and reliability of someone of something', 'have confidence in', 'earnestly hope'

    I wouldn't say I 'outright' trust anyones directory.

    Sure I have submitted to a few of the top directories and thus far I have never had a problem, but that doesn't mean to say I wont have a problem down the line.

    Obviously I am still new here and working on building up my business relationships, whereas some of you guys have been using the forum for such a long time that you have established working relationships, deals, etc.

    I have met a few good people since being here and trust is building, but I don't trust anyone or their directory outright.

    some possible factors to consider when deciding who to trust or which directory you should trust;

    PR
    PS
    Alexa Ranking
    SERP positions
    # of quality backlinks

    Those are the ones anyone can see objectively, but this "trust" may go beyond numbers. I think friendship/partnership is also an important key.

    Agree it can get very lonely 'rowing your own boat' you need some solid buddies who can 'help you with the rowing' sometimes
