    I use BLOG exchanges (5) on my sites, so anyone that signs up through the blod exchanges on my site, earns me credits (free traffic), plus I use a NEWS RSS feed (atom and Feedburner), and a BLOG Ping service (I ping daily) and I post BLOG content everyday to keep my blog active.

    Put your blog in your profile here. You just missed a great opportunity for us to read your blog and then say how much we liked it in our own blogs!

    Make sure you register at directories and ping them using tools like pingomatic, http://geourl.org, and http://www.pingoat.com Pings may not work if you haven't already registered your blog so you have some legwork to do first.

    Technical blog entries can be individually submitted to www.digg.com

    Yeah first thing you need to do is write about something people might be interested in...

    I don't know a lot of people who are going to flock to read a keyword blog. I can come up with 100,000 keywords off the top of my head. Not to mention there are probably 100,000 keyword blogs already out there.

    Why not write something you know something about? I think it is not a stretch to assume someone who has not learned how to publicize their blog, may not be the best source of information on keywords, if there were any worthwhile information on the subject to be had.

    So before you do ANY of the above things, I suggest you decide on a topic you actually know, and then start a blog for that. Otherwise you are just going to end up on a path to despair, and I don't want to see you back here in 3 months telling me that google treated you unfairly.

    another sure way to get your blog noticed is to visit other people's blogs on subjects that interest you and leave them comments with your blog url in the sig line. Tell them how great they are or how much you like what they wrote or tell them you disagree....anything, but compliments are best. They will want to touch back and you get your URL listed one more place.

    Picking a busy blog that already has a lot of comments, will work to get more people involved.
