How many are active, parked or redirects? I have 15. 6 active 5 redirects 4 parked I'm thinking of selling the parked ones.
i own and manage around 150, thats pretty small time compared to the people who own 500 up in to the thousands. most are at namecheap and parked, so its easy to bulk edit them, i have the parked names grouped, and names for websites grouped, that way i dont edit the wrong name, pretty easy to manage.
The first page my browser sees is a page with links to all my sites, there stats and affiliate/PPC links. Only two are content sites that I keep updated, some new content sites that I'll hopefully keep updated (Press Releases), while some are content sites that I never touch, and there's the affiliate sites, like 27 AWS sites that just sit around generating Amazon orders! The @ 20 that I just dumped were dead/banned/went no where domains. I finally learned that content is king, as long as it's not wikipedia stuff, or content that's on thousands of sites!!
Oh man! I didn't know individuals owned so many domains! Do you guys keep them to hopefully make some money off of them or is it more a collection thing?
12 in all -> active around 19 -> redirects around 9 (shall be launched next month) -> pages under construction registered 8 more -> may launch sometime when i have time. millions others -> still in mind
I run a hosting company, we have over 180 domains managed. I myself own a further 20 domains. We use fxdomains.com i think its my home page actually :S
Of my (now 104) domains, only about 40 are individual websites. Most of the remainder are to account for people typing in the wrong domain (many of my .CO.UK sites also have the .COM version of the domain etc.) I have about 15 domains for type-in traffic purposes - where the value of the type in traffic is greater than the registration and renewal fees.
Absolutely not if you have good domains Honetly I have lots of domains. I registered most of them in order to develop them. I mean hand register. Actually I have a domain parked at sedo that generate 520 euro per year just from traffic cash. It pays for all other domains reg (and I have some bucks for a pizza too).
