I'm starting a new site and got .biz and .org registered which is the best to use as the main site looking at SEO. I read here that .org is : http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/google-ranking-factors.htm , but i'm doubtfull about it.

Actually domain TLD's have only little effect on SEO. For example if you have 3 sites with same content ( Hypothetical situation) and same number of links got in serps with com,net and org, your org might get better ranking than other two. But you know this is just hypothetical, in reality you cannot construct such sites.

If you are looking for resale value, com will be best.

Just my 2c.
PS: From SEO point of view, your content,internal links and backlinks play important role than just domain TLD.

 

I'm looking to l301 one to the other but am unsure which one to chose.

If its business type, go for biz, otherwise .org.

If its informational one go for org => Just my personal preference.
