I'm going to be lazy and not read the rest of the thread but that's exactly what happened to me, because although I had funds I didn't have a credit card set up. Went through handsonwebhosting.com, cost me an extra .75 but I had no paypal problems.

For those using paypal and godaddy, there is a coupon code that will save you 10% on .COM domains, hosting, email, and more. Use code PAYPAL10. There are other discounts, but this may be useful sometimes (for example if you use to register something that costs more than $20).

(BTW, I don't think that discount coupon codes can be used at geek-domains.com)

Please consider that GoDaddy doesn't accept payments through international Paypal accounts even if they are verified. That's explain why I'm using cc with them or registering through namecheap.com

I don't know if it is your case

    Thanks,

Thanks Irongloves, that would explain it. Must have been in the fine print... but given I'd told them what country I was in it's curious that they offered PayPal as an option...

And you've got 10 posts now - go add your sig!

    IronGloves,
Paypal International Verified accounts are accepted with Godaddy. I used mine a few days ago.

    JamesF,
No you don't need funds in your Paypal account to pay Godaddy. I've bought some domains in these last days through Paypal, with no funds on it, and it got the money from my CC.

    Hope this helps.

:) When using paypal to pay go daddy you must have atleast a bank account linked to paypal if you don't have a credit card.

The thing is before using your paypal you must make sure you confirm it and you should be good to go.

Keep me updated. Hope this helps!

I think you might need a credit card linked to your PayPal account, sometimes I've had problems with that before

I just bought a domain a few hours ago with my paypal account although I have a verified paypal account with both credit card and bank account attached but I have bought domains in the past with unverified accounts.

must just be an error try registering the domain again.

    Hope this helps

    thanks,
    John

I just try.. I think maybe this is the problem..

Before I verified with dc, I have verify with vcc.

After that it bumped like this. I have email the godaddy asking the problem.

    Waiting reply.
