Wow, I just bumped into an affiliate site where they have ads that look just like adsense ads... I wonder how well they perform

    http://targetfirst.com/Publishers/AdFormats.aspx

For anyone looking for an Adsense alternative they might want to give this a try... any one using them already?

But do they have thousands of high-paying advertisors like Google does! I don't think it would be a good idea to try them until after geting terminated from Google!

Yeah, that's my point, with so many people getting banned "for no reason at all", this seems to be what they are looking for

Looks just like it? Heh heh. I dunno, I might have to think twice about signing up with someone who can't even come up with their own banner designs. I mean, geez, they just took Google's ads, changed the color, the "ads by" tag, and voila! But then again, if you were banned by Google...beggers can't be choosers and all that jazz.

I emailed TargetFirst and asked them if they would give me the URL's of a few websites that are displaying their ads. We'll see if they reply.

TargetFirst does have a testimonial on their site from TheGiftWheel.com, but I don't see anywhere on TheGiftWheel site where TargetFirst ads are being displayed.

I'm using TF ads on my site and I don't really know what to say... Some guys from DevDreams forum sad it was OK so I put it... Sometimes they pay like 0.03 per click, sometimes even 0.40...

After "Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. After reviewing your application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our program criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our program." I am forced to try other companies so I chose TF... My site is new and it makes about 90 unique hits/day and this is a big problem when i want to sign up with some other PPC company. Normally as I am from Croatia, at least at these first steps, I don't have more than 40% US or UK traffic, and this is also problem with some of Google alternatives... If I had about 500 hits/day, 60-70% US traffic i could be easier to find decent advertiser. By now, I use TF and Bidvertiser...

I have to use companies like TF until I get some starting points after which I could ask again people from google to enable me use of their ads. or should Yahoo be faster :) Or I should give up and erase my site before I start to lose my nerves and energy...

Forgot to mention one thing... TF doesn't have public service ads, it puts ads to present itself instead, and pays for it...

Considering the number of websites that are using stock cms displays, this is probably just what the doctor ordered. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I just wonder if they have any substantial advertisers...

Maybe they could become like a adsense minor leage. Junior Adsense.
