I actually have a few questions: 1) How do you flatten all layers into one 2) How do you resize an image 3) How do you move an layer to a different position on the page i.e. I have a transparent image with an image dead in the middle, how do i move it to the left. 4) How do you make a glow around an image. Thanks, I will give green rep to you if you help me
Well i use CS2 and lemme try 1. Not sure what you mean by flatten. If it means making all of them into one like a background. I save a jpg on desktop and open it again with photoshop, that makes all layers into a background. 2. Resize an image. Go to Image > Image size . Shortcut Alt+Ctrl+I 3. Select the layer which the image is in and use the move tool. For greater accuracy of the move tool... use zoom and then move. 4. Select a layer. Go to layer style. And choose the one you want... outer glow or inner glow. And fill in the attributes. Any questions... ask me Thanx and regards, ~KMKM
For 1, the quickest way is to cick on your upper layer then keep clicking CTRL and E at the same time to emerge them down layer by layer.
1 - CTRL + SHIFT + E to merge visible all layers or CTRL + E to go one by one 2 - Goto Image > Image Size or Image > Canvas size..... Also if you want to resize just the image and not the canvas you can use CTRL + T 3 - Use the move tool to move the contents within the layer... 4 - Select the layer you want to give the glow .. and then double click on that layer. A window will open there check the outer glow option and you are done... you can change colors of the glow from there.... hope it helps....
For 1. I think what you're looking for is to go to "Layer" at the top and then choose "Flatten Image" at the bottom of the drop down menu. For 2. you go to "Image" at the top and I always use "Image Size" from the drop down menu. I usually adjust it in "pixels" and leave the "Constrain Proportions" box checked.
This is too much giving Green Rep for a question The reps should not be given like this better you could have posted in Buy Sell trade section for this!
seems like all your questions have been answer pretty well but for the first one your better off creating a new layer (ctrl shift n, I think) then go to the top menu and click "image" then click "apply image" this will give you a merged layer but keeping all the un merged layers there so you can still go back and edit them if you wish. no rep needed.
1) Ctr+shft+e for all of them, ctrl +e just to merge one 2) ctrl T for the transform tool 3) use arrows or push v for the move tool 4) right click on layer, blending options, outerglow, mess with settings.
