Try using a contrasting color instead of having them blend. With a CTR of .50% you can try it without much loss.

In the middle ad: change it to an image only ad. Also.. remove the "hottest tutorials" header = its against TOS

I'd go for less ads - and use that blue color you have for the menu and the headings as background color for your ads as well. Test whether the use a white border on it (I mean - that color you're using as border on the menu & headings). With a black background, contrasting colors will often work just as well, if not better.

Testing means: set up two custom channels. One for each color-scheme.

BTW - those pictures you have next to the ads in the middle of the page can get you into major trouble with google. They are against their TOS.

Try adding an ad link unit to near the top of the page. Since you don't have a navigation bar it will attract alot of attention.

To me the ads just seem to kinda disappear into the page and I would spend some time looking at the web stats to see what is being clicked on the page?, see if you can adjust the layout to work better with the stuff that is getting clicked. I would also try other colors, maybe even use the standard color for links.

Well looks like almost everything has been said

My suggestion: sign up for a free account on www.crazyegg.com = heatmaps which will tell you where people are clicking.

    Hope that helps!

I think what Bilz meant is that you can add an ad unit at the top since you only have the one Google ad on there at the moment (you are allowed three.) Actually you can add one either at the top or at the bottom of the page, I would place the second one at the bottom. The Google heatmap shows that these are two places where people tend to click more.

    Hot Photoshop Tutorials ?? lol
Just Keep Photoshop Tutorials or something..
Ads are perfectly placed... then why is your CTR so LOW 0.50% is too low :(
You need to black list www.forex.com, I see you are getting irrevelant ads
