Paypal is the ultimate online banksystem. When you send someone money you get THE DOUBLE back. Oh my god, I'm not even joking.

You can test against my user at paypal if you don't belive me!

Paypay sounds like a paypal knock off! Do you have a link to the site?

    Lol too funny :p

That's because it has a "stock template" feel layout... very unprofessional.. also because of the stock photographs (I recognize some of them). Wouldn't trust them either!

PayPay simply sounds and looks like another attempt to offer a new Paypal service.

Paypay is a payment system, it's not a scam, it's working, I'm a user and have successfully used it for about a year or so. Of course, I don't store large amounts of money in Paypay, it is stupid to store large amounts of money in ANY such system.

Their name sucks. I don't know why did they choose a name that makes them look like a Paypal wannabe. But there's a page at the site that explains it.
The design also kind of sucks, not that it's ugly, but it IS a template. To understand why such a company - that absolutely needs to look trustworthy - chooses a template design, one has to know the whole context. A typical customer of Paypay, that means somebody from this region (eastern Europe - Slovak, Czech, Poland, Hungary etc.), doesn't judge a company by such details. The site would have to be really ugly to generate suspicion.

Paypay is not like Paypal. It is designed to help with international bank transfers. You upload money from your bank account to Paypay and then can send them to any bank account in the covered countries. You spare a LOT of money - for example, sending money (the equivalent of $130) from my country to Germany by an international transfer from my bank to the recipient's bank would cost me about $30. I send them by Paypay and the charge is about 30 cents.
Paypal is well known and used here, in the central-eastern Europe. When paying to Germany, UK and other countries, I simply tell the recipient I will send the money using a special service provided by my bank and don't mention any Paypay - because I think the reaction would be like yours (and I couldn't blame them :) ) Pity it is not more known and spread in the "ebay countries", I would use it instead of Paypal.
