I cannot seem to figure out exactly what to put in the box that asks for "command to run" - I have tried the URL (ex: /www/myblog/wp-content/update-feeds.php) and this: 25 * * * * cd $HOME/www/myblog/wp-content ; php -q update-feeds.php among other things, any ideas?
you would put the exact url that you would type in if you were doing it yourself/ so more like http://www.myblog.com/wp-content/blah blah then select how often to run
I put just the URL in, then got an email with this error: /bin/sh: http://www.mysite.net/wp-content/update-feeds.php: No such file or directory Am I supposed to put more in than the URL? like "-q URL" or something?
same problem here. I got the report email telling me "can't login with user ' ' and pass ' ' " what user pass should I put there anyways? Thanks for replying.
I'll pay someone $10 by PayPal if they can tell me what to put in this line to update feeds on feedwordpress.
All I can suggest for others is that the examples using curl will not work where php is installed as a CGI - But by taking 1-2 minutes to read the manpage for curl is is easy to figure out how to set up the cronjob.
