You can build an empire far greater then $4,000/monthly. It can be explained in a few pages how you could bring in that kind of income and more within 2 months.

I wouldn't go buying books though, just read these forums and work your own formula out.

Everything you need to know to build an adsense income of $4k is here on this forum in one form or another if you look hard enough.

I have learnt my own lessons along the way to earning double that but I would not sell them in an ebook for $4? Would you sell your secrets for that price, if was the type of information that was not already common knowledge on this forum then I would keep them secret or share them in a public forum if it was permitted, in other words save your money.

If you share your secret with others, how would it make your own revenue smaller? I don't see any correlation in such business.

There is a big pie... everyone shares it... If others take more of the pie because of advice you give, then the potential for your pie is reduced.

It is good to share tips and advice and all that... But if you had an idea and it managed to get you 10000 unique visitors a day on a week old site and was totally legitimate, would you share it, or use it to make money.

If you chose to share it you would be a fool.

What Aaron meant was that he earns more then $4,000, so making $4,000 would be reducing his income!

Oh never mind... I was just joking. The OP mentioned a book that enables you to earn $4k a month. I'm just really joking since it doesn't help those of us who are already well beyond that level. ;)

Well, in a way, that's the point.

You find the info all organized and that should save you time.

Of course you have to pay for it, hope that it's done in a good and proper way, and give up the enjoyment of gathering the info yourself, and finally the biggest problem of all, you can't rely on any printed source of info as they usually aren't up to date as much as a forum....

Still, if you're in a hurry, it might be useful.

mm, you can google for a day and find all that information , and print it, but indeed, buying the book saves you time, but you're adsense empire starts with a negative balance.. :)

I don't think they're necessarily BS... they just contain information which is already in the public domain.

When reading this type of e-book, you need to remember that they aren't targetted at someone who already knows some (or many) of the ways to optimize sites. If you pick up only 1 thing from an ebook and that helps you increase your CTR (or traffic) then it might have been worth it.
If you know nothing about adsense, or about incorporating it into your site. The getting an ebook could give you the basics in one source - without having to spend hours reading through these forums. So for a complete newbie then the ebooks probably aren't a bad idea, for the more experienced webmaster then they're more than likely a waste of money.
