Please review this banner, it is only in the first stages of design. I will give green rep to everyone who gives me an honest review. Sorry about the image size:

Besides the size, the speaker system has alot of rough edges. But may look better when you shrink it.

Also I would use a different color for the site name, it kind of blends in with the background right now and doesnt jump out at you.

    I agree with aaron_nimocks.

I am not particularly found of the color blends and think it is too dark in general but atleast I would make all the lettering a bit brighter.

I think banners should attract the eye with colors and not blend in to be over looked.

I agree colors are too dark, maybe make the text stand out more.

Change the header's font to the same outerglow green so it stands out more. OR try adding the same glow effect to the text.

Don't like the gradient you used... The grey color getting darker needs to be alot sharper otherwise your heading in the right direction

yeah the size of it is huge but I do like the speakers, you've done a good job on them so far Now, you need to put a feather of around 2px and you should put a stroke around the text to make it stand out a little more.

It looks good but should also go in with the theme of the main website design...Change the font...

I would make the text stand out more by using a different color. Maybe also make the background color lighter as well, as everything looks a bit dark

    The grey background doesn't work.

What background for the rest of the site is it going on? Whatever the background colour-the banner would need a contrasting colour.
google 'colour wheel' and 'contrast colours'..if you need explainations.

If you really want the silvery/grey text to stay..background colour that would be somewhat okay looking is purple..

You might want to make the entire banner smaller. height wise.

honestly i would never have used grey and green...

If you wanted to highlight the text and get people to focus on the text, one thing that was drummed into me in highschool art(which i majored in)..is add yellow. Perhaps make the text into 3d,with yellow shading..get rid of the green at the bottom..and replace the green behind the speakers with a pale yellow..

I would personally go with a brighter color the purpose of an ad is to jump out not blend in. Also the speacker picture is loaded with rough edges what about just one logitech speaker zoomed into like the cone area and it also give a nice close up of the logitech logo....just my 2 cents

Sorry to say but seems like the colors do not match your speakers and texts. Black does not seems to be a good choice for your banner. As said by others, your speakers edges are rough, you may want to use photoshop or other picture software to smoothen it.

As for the color black, I would like to suggest a lighter color like gray or light green to match the outline of the speakers. For the texts, if you use light background, then the color of the texts should be darker.

    Hope this helps.

It's not that bad, I would give it a 6/10 or so. I don't think the colors flow well, and it has too much open space.

It's getting close, I would rate it a 7 out of 10. Size needs to be smaller and text just a different color but I think that's it.

I think its to blurry, you need to get rid of all the blurry stuff. Maybe some crisper white text, that way it stands out. This one is way better then your previous one though.

i dont think it is overly balanced, and i think it is a bit rough around the edges, i think it needs to get a bit of life into it if you know what i mean, like if i see that banner on a site, im not going to be like, "wow thats cool!", not overly appealing, but is has potential.. sorry if this sound too critical

I think the banner looks quite rough. The edges of the speaker system is quite jagged and perhaps make the font of Logitech Computer Systems a bit fatter to add more emphasis on it. :)
