I'm going to write a novel. Need some advice

    Hello there fellow writers!

I intend to write a novel and sell it as an ebook via sites like Amazon. Anyway from what I understand the book must have an ISBN number. Does anyone have any details on how to obtain such a thing?

And before you ask the novel will be a piece of historical fiction, set on the early Medieval Age, on the Silk Road. I'm done with the first chapter and so far it is looking good.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards, George

Thanks for the link. It looks like it would be wiser to search for a publisher. These guys only sell in bulk.

You can publish it yourself in both print and ebook form using a POD publisher like www.lulu.com, and get the isbn right through them. It's pretty cheap, and there's no bulk ordering.
