24 hours to open database??

    hello webmasters

    recently i got a lyrics database of 600mb and when i asked the question how to open that up,i was told that i can use wordpad for that....
    i tried wordpad and now the strange part is that from the last 24 hours the database is opening up and still it is not full fledged open..

    is this Normal??????
    do i have any other means by which i can open this huge database and then edit it before uploading to my server???

    I wouldnt use that, try using vi to open it or you can download vim7 from google :D

    Search for it. I use that for opening huge files.

    But you know you should just rename it to .sql and then then run it to import all the contents.
