The Absolute BEST for me was to just make a super simple website. 2 Adsense square blocks on top of the input, and one leaderboard underneath the proxy url input. Very basic website, and underneath wrote a paragraph explaining what proxies are and had some RSS feeds on the site as well. BUT -> Adsense is now off my proxy sites due to the current problems!
well my most clicked ad is a link unit, placed just under the address bar. otherwise you could check other sites or look at google's hotspot map. if you wanna see my site as an example then PM me.
horizontal link unit does well for me under the header. and two rectangles in the middle of the page above browse bar.
How about an add right next to the search button? Just surround the input area with ads..two on top one below
I am having decent results with the ad layout on the center link in my signature.. Also depending on the page is how you setup adlogger if you have no to little links on your site then ste the adlogger to 3-5 clicks per 24 hours.. On the site I listed its 7 per 24 hours
I get results with quarter banner over and under the bar: http://sammers.info/ and also banner over each bar: http://atjob.info/ Simply butt ugly layouts do better than fancy layouts. Literally, no styling. One input box, one button, and a chunk of Google ads.
With search engine traffic that theme is usually gets me ~5% but with the recent paid traffic from experienced proxy users it dropped to 3.
wow... I am losing my mind. Honestly I have no clue why I said anything about adlogger now... I am thinking I misread something.. Sorry for being off topic..
