    I received a PM from this member asking for a Sponsor Listing from his Directory List. $25.00 a month which CERTAINLY I could afford. As an offline businessman myself also, I deal with a lot of business as I am not new to this besides experience and age (please dont ask). Well I have placed some Sponsored Listing on PR0 sites and have no problem with it. But this guy seems spinning my world as if I am a high school student.

    Not even 1 site of mine is listed in that directory listing and asking me to sponsor for a price would make me feel STUPID. If someone or others have said that you have a nice site or great site it might be because their site is in there and out of gratitude. IMO you should learn more about FRIENDSHIP, GRATITUDE and SPECIFIC MARKETING TECHNIQUES.

    I don't mind paying the sum. In my payroll I have 3 editors and links subscription as high as $300 per month and for 1 second and that 1 tiny second don't ever BULLSHIT me AGAIN. As I have asked my acquaintances listed in that Directory of Directories to FREEZE any TRANSACTIONS for a while.

    I got that PM spam too. Funny thing is the person said my directory was listed but turns out it wasn't even on the site. :rolleyes:

    i got that very spam email as well telling me he has sent loads of business my way when my site is not even listed on his.

    Lol -- I'll even check a PR5 directory ( how many OBLs--traffic, PS etc.)-- for that price.

    Yesterday I bought a PR4 homepage -footer listing from a good directory for $12 for 3 months.:D

    Interested to know who can ask so much :eek: ( And I was thinking to sell 10 site-wide for $20/month each if my directories became PR5:D )

    I got it too. :) ... It looks like same PM was send to all of us. (Mostly i guess)

    The funny part is, the starting was
    And my directory was online for a mere 4 days when I got that. (It's still just 8 days old)

    You could have asked it in a better way :)

    Not only that. My suggestion is to see the backlinks of a directory first and how individual owners do promoting their site to give JUSTICE to the prices their asking. Second are index pages in Google and Yahoo.

    There are a lot of BackLink Checkers available in the web. Please check. :rolleyes:

    Goodness Sake I just bought a $100 a Year PR0 Site with 10,000 Pages Indexed. Thats less than $10 a month. :eek:
