    With a new product just been announced, I decided to purchase several domains related directly to this product.

    Im sure many of your will know already about this launch.

    I bought:

    xxxxxxxxxworld.com
    xxxxxxxxxkit.com
    xxxxxxxxxinteractive.com
    xxxxxxxxxchat.com

    Which do you think is the best from a marketing point of view?
    I posted this in SEO because I know I would of gotten a slap in the general marketing and Domains forum doesnt suit development.

    Anyway, Ill be interested to know any other extensions you may suggest also.

    I would say xxxxxxxxworld.com - for me it just seems to fit well and it would be a good name to launch with too.

    I would also go with xxxworld...it is a little easier to remember for others, helping traffic...plus I think you could get better keywords for world than for any of the other domains...jmo though.

    l would prefer xxxxxchat, many of the dev forums use this argument. seochat, webmasterchat ....

    The domain which has the shortest "type in", the domain which includes the best descriptive keyword, the domain that has the keyword first in proximity to the rest, the domain that has the catchy easy to remember title, the domain which represents your brand.

    Words like Interactive are hard for some to spell or remember. People will forget to book mark your site then remember something about it and try to find it again in a search engine. I do that all the time myself. Who can bookmark everything?
