Now all of these are not related to the content of my site. Do you guys think doing these will indeed do any good for marketing at all or just waste of time??

You could also post your free ebook on various free ebooks sites. Internet marketers are always looking for quality freebies to offer their lists. You could also explore the $7 ebook option.
