    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^Googlebot*
    RewriteRule ^/$ http://www.google.com/ [L,R=301]

    Or.....

    <?php
    if (strstr($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], "Googlebot")) {
    header("HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently");
    header("Location: http://www.google.com/");
    exit;
    }
    else {
    header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1');
    };
    ?>
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Future PR 10 page</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p>This page will have a PR of 10, but of course it won't actually <i>rank</i> for anything, so the whole exercise is all rather a waste of time, don't you think?</p>
    </body>
    </html>

    You make normal visitors see the site, but make the Googlebot redirect to a PR 10 site (Google.com for those of you in Rio Linda.). Then at the next PR Update, we see PR 10 in the tool bar. :D:D No, it won't take you to the very top of the results. There are two different kinds of PRs!

    Really?? Interesting, see I read about it on some website I found, and they said their method actually makes the other site drop out, while your site takes its place, and its pr. Thats what I heard anyhow, heres the link: Don't go nuts whatever you do -if you try it and it works out that is: http:// clsc.net/research/google-302-page-hijack.htm#008

    I bought last month a PR5 website with a wallpaper website on it. I paid about $200 for it.

    I parked the domain to Sedo and I'm cashing $1.5 per day. Domain has some 30,000 backlinks

    I always value a domain by the income it can push. not just the PR.

    I don0t know why people online are literally obsessed by PR.

    I guess its because with all those backlinks and some good optimization, once you do get on G and other SEs your more likely to keep your position, depending on the url, I'd be willing to pay 200. As for buying whole sites for money purposes, I almost did that. There was a site on ebay, selling for about 12,500, though I don't have that on me, and e-mailed the dude, he never reponded to my questions. It supposedly earned *about $1,654 each month. The design was a little crappy, but I guess some people don't mind it, I figured I could do a fixer upper one time and see how it went, though getting a loan takes forever, and when its an auction well your screwed if its an auction your trying to get a load of money for. Specially when they expect you to pay out by 5 days. I truely believe it had potential, just needed a good webmaster and new templates. The dude spend 0 in advertising also.:)

    Nice! I would love to be listed before nintendo.com! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Though if you enter 'google' in Google you don't see the hundreds of sites that have hijacked Google to get that so called 'PR 10' so I'm not too sure that it actually does that.
