I've lost my SERP position

    Hello!
At the beginning, I'll describe few things:
    1. tomksoft is my nick and it is completely unique.
    2. Tomksoft's techblog is the name of my blog and it's also unique.

About week ago, when I'd searched for "tomksoft blog" or "tomksoft techblog", I was on the first position.
Now I have really small amount of visitors from Google, because I've lost my postion.
I am at the middle on the second page when searching "Tomksoft's techblog"!

    What I've done - I've redirected http://tomksoft.iblogger.org to http://www.tomksoft.iblogger.org with 301 redirection by mod_rewrite.
Now Google (even on Webmasters Central) doesn't see any BLs.

    What should I do?

Leave it 4-7 days after directing your http:// to www. for things to settle.

In the mean time, grab a few fresh backlinks to your www. and update with some fresh content.

Don't do anything drastic just yet.

I've done the redirect more than 7 days ago, about 10 days I think.
I am trying to get new backlinks, I've changed signatures on forums.
It's a blog, so it always has fresh content :)

Via Google webmaster panel make sure that you say that you choose the option where you prefer de www. over the non www, and then all you can do is wait, you have taken all the necessary steps. Just make sure you new incoming links are pointed at the www. version from now on too.

Sorry to say but you'll have to wait it out most likely. Frustrating isn't it?

Do you think that it can be because of Ziki?
    What about RSS directories?

Try not to build links for a moment then optimize your site on-page, meaning, manage your keywords properly first.

well recentl i read a LOT about SERPs dropping, incl. one of my sites which reached position #9, and from one day to the other vanished to page 30 !

Regarding KW optimising: You are talking about Meta Keywords ?
People say google doesnt even care about the metas !

I will wait a few more days too with my site...

    Thank you for informations.
I've received infraction, because mod says that I've posted this topic in wrong forum. Dear moderator, I've lost my SERP only on Google, that's why I've posted it in Google subforum. On other SE everything is all right.
Sorry for writing this here, I can't find contact to the moderator that gave me the infraction.

I really don't think they are the problem...
I agree this is a Google problem, I've seen more googlewashing of late.
Google should be smart enough to know that your blog is the original content, and what most people are searching for... not rss feeds.

Chances are it will sort itself out, but try the "Dissatisfied? Help us improve" link near the bottom of the page, it has worked to speed things up before...
