Should i give my friend in?

I have this problem that my good friend and a business partner is doing porn with underaged girls, he pays them well and just asks them to bring fake ID card with them on the filming day to scan it. If the girls don't know where to get one he will instruct them to the right person. The girls are normally 16 to 18 years old, but the problem is not that its illegal, the problem is my morals.

I my self bend the law when ever i can if i can get away with it, but this is totally unacceptable. I just don't know what to do, he is abusing these girls and it is troubling me. What if my daughter would be one of his victims... Now i have lot of money going around with this guy and he can't know that it was me if i turn him in, if i get caught i will lose shitloads of money.

So anyone have any suggestions?

turhapuro you should do the right thing, money isn't every thing in life. I'm sure in the long run you will get rewarded for doing the right thing.

People with low integrity will make money - but usually get caught out somewhere along the line. It's wrong what he is doing and he should not be allowed to go on doing it.

Jees... If I were you, id do it behind his back, so he didnt know it was you.
I know that's callous and cold, but it would save your friendship in the longrun - dont tell anybody you're gonna do it, just do it, let him get punished, still talk to him and maybe act as though your surprised.

Oh well, i don't have choice here. I made anonymous call from prepaid phone and reported it, feel kinda bad for my friend since i have known him since childhood. I tried to talk him out of it, but he just don't listen.

I hope he wount get jail time, but a big fine or something. Acording to our laws it will be jail time pretty sure.

Or maybe he'll get off with it - just pretend that he thought the ID cards were genuine. Bottom line is it'll be one word against another over whether he knew those ID cards were real - presumably the girls, who sound as if they were willing participants, probably aren't going to testify against him. It's sad but he might be able to slime out of it.

 

you realize that you are also responsible for letting it happen? If you are in the US you could go to jail for not stopping it.

 

Yes being a partner your somewhat implicated, to what extent me dont know. Make sure you have everything in order, paperwork, statements if needed etc.

The original poster claims to be "business partners" with a child molestor and rapist. I would seek legal counsel on how to make sure you are not involved in his business. Your own potential and actual criminal liability, since you claim knowledge of the crimes and their ongoing nature, continues and you should make great efforts to come forward with full information.

 

I live in europe so you should report it some where else. Anyway i'm happy i did it. I don't have anything to do with his porn business, but i was about to join his porn ventures untill i got to know about this. We do have other business that we do togather, and i'm looking to lose 10k$ because of this.

After he is convicted he can't do business from jail, so now i need to look for someone else for the job. I have always been greedy and there has never been any obstacles that could get in to way, but this was too much.

I know over here in Australia, that criminals prosecuted for doing stuff with kids are not treated very well in prison. I think that would be punishment enough. Hopefully he will learn his lesson.
