    I have seen so many websites with high pagerank (PR), but less traffic. Often, low pagerank sites get better SERP positions than higher PR sites for quality SEO jobs.

    But, pagerank is another useful scale to measure your performance of your internet existance.

    For me: traffic over PR. But if I'm concerned with selling links.. then PR is important for that specific site of mine. For my portfolio site, not so much.. it isn't priority because I'm only concentrating on good SERP results and traffic :)

    PR Matters mostly to Web Directory Owners, but for me PR doesn't matter :D Traffic Matters the most ;)

    Page Rank is important to determine if a website have good quality links from trusted websites. However, PR by itself is not important for rankings.
    So, we should talk about Trustrank.

    Pagerank = Trustrank = Money?

    I consider it to a certain point...I currently have most of my sites at PR3...I'm working on getting one of them up to a 4, and then go from there...however, I'm not really willing to pay to get it to a 6, so if all I ever get is a 4, then I am happy.

    PageRank does not matter. Pages rank in google for a number of terms with a pangrank of 0. Dont let it fool you! Matter of fact, dont worry about it what so ever.
