    Hi,
I had few proxies..around 20 i think...and yesterday my adsense account was banned because of proxies.Plus they are taking too much server load.It seems google is banning almost all proxies.
I suggest you all to think twice before starting a proxy site..:( :(
    Thanks,
    Saad

How can you say which site(s) got your account banned?

Can you elaborate? Did you put the Google ads on the mainpage or the proxified pages?

There is a lot of proxy owners getting emails from Google about invalid clicks. Seems that there is some sort of Botnet attacking other proxy owners trying to get them banned.

That's something new. Was it because of competitors clicking on your ads, i.e. sudden increase in CTR? Or did you mislead your visitors with the ad placements?

If not, you should really check with Google.

I'm sorry it happened to you and that's true that most people are getting banned who use their adsense on proxies. A fellow DP member mubin has posted about this in his blog here.

Nope, no sudden increase in CTR plus i was using phproxythemes.com themes and standard default adsense placement..plus lot of proxy owners lost their accounts in last few days..

I see many proxy sites with adsense. I think you could not put adsense on proxied pages but on the home page, it should be fine.

I was thinking to start a proxy site and thank you for your advice.

I doubt it, proxies just attract crap traffic which doesn't convert. Also a ton of overseas visitors which is also junk for adsense.

Sorry to hear about that :(

Go for some other PPC programs like clicksor, chitika etc..
You will easily get approved from the other quality sites you have.

Is it just me, or if Google can recognized invalid clicks and is aware of clickbot.A, then why would they ban proxy site owners?

They have all of the data at their fingertips.

I beg to differ. Please read my thread on this topic.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=293762

I warned people that this was coming and I know the reason. It is not about crap international traffic nor is it about ads on proxified pages.
